What To Do
- Fill your sink full of hot soapy water and place your wok into it.
- Gently scrub the entire surface with a scrubber or sponge, ensuring you have covered all areas.
- Once you have finished, you can remove your wok from the water.
- Rinse your wok with clean, hot tap water, and then place it on your stove.
- Use a gentle heat to dry your wok before you start to season it.
What Not To Do
- Don’t put your wok in the dishwasher.
- Never use abrasive scrubbers or sponges.
- If you spot rust, gently remove the rust spots before completing the seasoning process.
