Ingredients
- Applewood Signature® All Natural Star Anise – Grade A – 100g
- Chicken
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. five spice powder
- ½ tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cooking wine
- ½ tsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. white wine
- Cumin powder
- Chili
- Pepper
- Garlic
- Cilantro
Method
- Spread out the chicken in a hot pan and fry with minimal touching to complete the browning process.
- Once the chicken is browned on both sides and cooked through, place it onto a plate.
- Stir fry the aromatics.
- Release the fragrance by roasting in the dry spices and chili peppers.
- Add the chicken back to the pan before tossing it.
- Stir in the cilantro.
- Enjoy!
